Stretching from the Georges River down to the Royal National Park, and taking in the St George area around Rockdale, Hurstville and Kogarah, BuildKare NDIS supports participants across the Sutherland Shire and southern Sydney. It's a region with a strong mix of beachside suburbs, riverside communities around Sylvania and Yowie Bay, and established residential areas further inland around Sutherland and Miranda.

Our support in this region covers daily living and personal care, community participation, transport to appointments and activities, support coordination for participants managing their first plan or a recent plan review, and allied health services including occupational therapy, psychology and behaviour support. Proximity to the Royal National Park and the Shire's beaches also means community participation goals often include outdoor and recreational activities, which our support workers can help build into a regular routine.

In the St George pocket of the region — Rockdale, Bexley, Hurstville, Kogarah and Arncliffe — many participants are closer to train lines into the city, which can make combining in-person and telehealth appointments more practical. Further south and east around Sylvania, Woronora and Yowie Bay, support workers who can travel to the home are usually the more practical option.
